Here is the rule of thumb. No reputable agent CHARGES their clients ANY up front fees. If you find an agency that charges exorbitant fees for head-shots, web listings and classes STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They are in the business of extracting money from you, not finding you work. The best that they do is produce and send out glossy pamphlets to Studios and Production houses. Most are dumped into the garbage before they are even opened.

You need to find an agency that wants you for you and will only charge you a percentage of the work they book [...]

I think Georgetown parents will be surprised to learn of the resolution opposing any firing of Principal Pope.

The clear consensus, from my discussions, of Georgetown parents is that they want to see improvements in Hardy (well beyond 69% math and 73% reading proficiency) and they are willing to trust judgment in how to make those improvements.

At the very least, the primary thrust of the resolution should have been that the ANC wants to see improvements, with a secondary claim that they see Pope as critical to those improvements.
